Winter Feast 2020

His Eminence Metropolitan Demetrius traveled to Saint Nicholas Parish in Maryland for the feast of Saint Basil the Great, and to the Parish of Saint Seraphim of Sarov in Richmond, Virginia, which celebrates on the following day.

On the feast of Saint Seraphim, His Eminence celebrated the Divine Liturgy. On the evening before, after the Vespers Service, he gave a talk on the life of Saint John the New Almsgiver, who reposed in 1966. A piece of the holy relic of the saint was given to the parish.

On the following day, he returned to the monastery of Saint John the Wonderworker.
